Dr. James Gottfurcht is an internationally recognized psychologist (PSY 4861), coach, instructor and keynote speaker who is President of Psychology of Money Consultants, a Los Angeles-based company. He consults and coaches individuals, couples and families and employees as well as the financial services industry. He teaches "the inner game of money" to help increase financial success and overcome irrational, self-defeating behavior. He specializes in financial issues, communication, relationships, stress management and peak performance. Known as "The Doctor of Money Psychology," he is an instructor for UCLA Extension and The College of Executive Coaching.

His thirty years of pioneering work has led to the development of a unique financial approach called "The Psychology of Money" which he has taught to thousands of people in the U.S., Canada and Europe. His questionnaire, The Psychology of Money Profile, has been used since 1982 to assess Psychological Money Skills associated with financial success and empowerment. It gives scores on ten core Psychological Money Skills. He uses it to discover the causes of irrational financial behavior and to help replace this behavior with rational, effective action.

His clients have included: MasterCard International, Morgan Stanley, the Financial Planning Association, The American Institute for Certified Public Accountants, the American Association of Individual Investors and the Private Client Legal Forum. He is a popular media guest and has appeared on Good Morning America, CNBC, A&E Biography Special "Million Heirs," the BBC and in Time, The New York Times, Fortune, Money, Bloomberg Wealth Manager, Forbes, Business Week, Journal of Financial Planning, etc.

Zoreh Gottfurcht is a senior consultant for Psychology of Money Consultants. She has graduated from Coach University, and has a certificate of advanced training in the Psychology of Money. After 28 years of business expertise, she has developed a specialization in business, career and life coaching. She also is a public speaker. Her style is warm, encouraging and action oriented, inspiring and challenging, creative and strategic. Her goal is to bring out the best in her clients, to remove their blocks and obstacles and to empower them.
